Relationship counselor Selva Pérez Salerno – known as the “Love Guru” on TV – suffers a professional setback after one of her therapy sessions goes offcourse.

Malena and Elías sit down for their first session with Selva, where they explain how their relationship first came to be and the reasoning as to why they can’t end it.

Selva oversteps her professional boundaries by going to visit Elías and Malena at the showroom. Acting on Selva’s treatment recommendation, the couple decides to redecorate the place, which results in a controversial outcome.

Elías and Malena fail yet again to meet the weekly therapy goal Selva set for them.

Unexpected news forces Selva to return to her hometown, where she struggles to deal with her parents, relatives, her small-time fame and the rumors that come from a place that she loves and hates with equal passion.

Selva returns to her job with renewed energy and lays out a new therapy directive for Elías and Malena that proves to be more revealing than she could have imagined.

Elías and Malena are reunited at an unexpected dinner – each with their new partners. Despite a calm start, the mood turns sour and the whole evening goes off the rails.

Selva’s therapy requirement ends with Elías and Malena visited by an unexpected person who pushes their relationship to a point of no return.

Selva relishes in the success of her therapy, but the other side of the equation is a different story – Elías’ new reality leaves him a broken man while Malena struggles to overcome the separation.
