New season, new Mya. Single-life is great until everyone seems to be living the life she had planned. Amber hosts a love-intervention by encouraging Mya to look virtually for her new mate. Eric gets drawn deeper into his nefarious profession by his longtime mentor Smoke, a jovial but deadly serious kingpin, who gives "E" a major, albeit unwanted, promotion. Mark wallows in his self-pity.

While grappling with the mental anguish of his perilous lifestyle as a drug dealer, Eric receives an unwanted house guest. Amber's big audition doesn't go as planned when she meets Chuck. The "Hood Twins" do an about-face.

Carmen's dream of the high-rise corner office comes crashing down as her overbearing boss, Claire, demands she bring Mark back. No love is lost between Carmen and Mark upon his return. Carmen goes to the Doctor.

Carmen reconciles with Mark and hatches a plan to help him get Mya back. Things get personal as pandoras box is opened and certain things cannot be unsaid or unseen. Eric has a heart-to-heart with Smoke about his future.

A new love interest, Trent, enters Mya's world and sweeps her off her feet with his poetic words. Amber may be catching a break after all, despite Chuck's reluctance.

The genesis of Eric and Ju's friendship may write the final chapter as Smoke becomes suspicious. Mark receives a devastating DM and Khloe puts it all on the line for Amber to get another shot.
