Ji-hyun is determined to change her life for the better, even though she has never met the right man for her. One day, her grandfather visits her, and the two of them talk. The odd part is that the two have never even known each other in the past.

Ji-hyun 's misfortunes lead her to being fired from her job. She returns home to hear even more outrageous news. Her grandfather promises to give her an abundance of land if she moves to the countryside.

Her happiness of owning a vineyard is short lived after she finds that Taek-ki works within it. She is now forced into the position of learning how to manage the vineyard from Taek-ki.

Taek-ki and Ji-hyun continue to bicker, and Ji-hyun anxiously waits for Byung-dal to return. Ji-hyun finds that working on this vineyard is much tougher than she initially anticipated.

As Ji-hyun tries to take a secret trip to Seoul during the night, she bumps into her first love Kyung-min at the train station. After reading a letter by Ji-hyun, Byung-dal and Taek-ki go out to search for her with the help of everyone in the village.

Ji-hyun is surprised to find out that Taek-ki 's past lover is Soo-jin, a beautiful woman who works at the research center. Soo-jin continues to show her affection for Taek-ki, but he does not reciprocate her feelings.

Taek-ki finds out that Ji-hyun is interested in Kyung-min, and this arouses a sense of jealousy within. Kyung-min suggests to Ji-hyun that the two of them take a trip together over the weekend.

Ji-hyun does not feel at ease during her trip because of the fact that she lied to Taek-ki and her grandfather. After knowing that Ji-hyun is away with Kyung-min, Taek-ki feels uneasy and finds it hard to work.

Soo-jin arrives to the village and spends a few days with Ji-hyun in the same room. Ji-hyun notices that Taek-ki and the people in the village wholeheartedly welcome Soo-jin 's arrival, and Ji-hyun feels somewhat jealous.

Things are a little weird with Taek Gi's ex, Su Jin, staying at the vineyard but its for the best as they find a way to save the farms.

After Ji-hyun hurts her leg, Taek-ki does his best to take care of her. At this point, Ji-hyun feels confusion as she cannot understand her blooming feelings for him. Meanwhile, a grape festival takes place.

Taek-ki decides to confess his feelings to Ji-hyun. However, he hears that Ji-hyun only likes him as a friend. The village is also in an uproar over a grape thief who Taek-ki and Ji-hyun eventually encounter.

Taek-ki and Ji-hyun are forced to spend the night in a tiny tent. Despite the awkwardness, the two become closer. Kyung-min suggests to Ji-hyun that the two of them leave the vineyard and go to Seoul.

After Taek-ki 's announcement that he wants to give up working in the vineyard, the relationship between Taek-ki and Ji-hyun becomes lukewarm. The inheritance rights continue to be a big issue for Ji-hyun, and she finally makes up her mind to leave the village.

Finding out that Ji Hyun shares his feelings towards her, Jang Taek Gi races to stop her from leaving and to declare his love.
