Kevin Hart is sick and tired of the green screens and CGI movie magic, he wants action and he’s hellbent on proving that he’s ready to be a bona-fide action star. Kevin comes up with a cinéma vérité action film for his breakout role.

Kevin’s dream action movie is in full swing, but the danger is a little more intense than he expected, as are the injuries. Making matters worse, his longtime co-star, Jordan King, has been roped into the film, and she’s not happy about it.

Kevin and Jordan lay low at Andre’s house and get to know his mom/roommate. Jordan prompts Kevin to own up to his past mistakes, and sparks a memory that includes the biggest clue they have yet to discover.

Andre and Jordan go undercover at Kevin’s agency while trying to find out who is responsible for their deadly acting predicament. Meanwhile, Kevin is incapacitated by the devoted caretaking of Andre’s mother.

Kevin and Andre go deep into the woods and deep into their hearts as they seek out Mr. 206, the greatest stuntman of all time, hoping to find answers about Kevin’s assassin, one of Mr. 206’s former mentees.

Kevin, Jordan, Andre and his mother pull out all the action movie stops on their mission to confront the enemy, and after a few bumps in the road and a near-miss with a chain saw, they’re all in position, except Andre.

It’s kill or be killed in the final act of Kevin’s life imitating art nightmare, and Kevin and his village square off against the enemy, hoping to put an end to their deadly charade. Kevin comes face-to-face with his would-be killer.
